Zedu Weekly Wrap – 10 June 2022
We’re heading into a long weekend…
and then spending the week with a gaggle of emergency medicine aficionados at the ICEM22 conference. Two conferences within the month – great fun to be out and about – but we’re defnitely not conference fit!
If you’re attending ICEM22 please come and visit us at table 4 (by the barista!) – it would be great to catch up. Plus, if you take part in our proprioception challenge you could take the Darth Vader Lego set home – sweet!
Highlights to check out this week include a WFUMB article on how probe pressure can affect AAA measurement, a nice block video from the team at @MH_EMultrasound and an article by Tim Spencer (@AirliftNurse) on 10 best practice tips with radial arterial catheterization. Take a look
See you next week (or at ICEM!)
Mike and Suean
P.S. – Suean’s June Coaching Corner on the tips and tricks of remote ultrasound coaching is now available for free on the Coaching Corner webpage – do you have any tips to add?
If you’re a sonographer thinking about becoming a SEED – or a potential employer trying to understand what it takes to make the transition – take a look at our TRain the UltraSound Trainer (TRUST) course designed specifically to give you the teaching tools you’ll need to teach ultrasound on the run. We’re running this internationally recognised course in Australia for the first time in July and October – don’t miss out.
