Zedu Weekly Wrap – 1 November 2024
November is here…
which means a long weekend to mark the Melbourne Cup for those of us lucky enough to live in the cultural capital. We’re going to use the long weekend to recover from the last few weeks dedicated to launching new courses, presenting at conferences and getting publications published! Phew…
Plenty of news to check out this week including:
- Resources from the last week of #Blocktober24 from Jeff Gadsden (@jeffgadsden)
- a piece in @WINFOCUS Tele-education in point-of-care ultrasound training (28 October)
- the impacts of GLP-1 agonists on gastric emptying continue to be felt as outlined in a piece in Anaesthesia (29 October)
- Journal of Clinical Ultrasound – “Abdominal POCUS Education for Clinicians: A Systematic Review of Teaching Methods for Point-of-Care Abdominal Ultrasonography” (30 October)
Hope you back a winner! See you next week.

Happy 29th of #Blocktober24 ! A lot of great discussion yesterday re: spinal anesthesia, dosing, local used, needle size, etc. Also some talk about what to do with challenging anatomy…everyone has their own algorithm..different space, try paramedian, changing positioning, etc… pic.twitter.com/sBs5L7NRAv
