Covid-19: 15 July 2021 shutdown
Is it just us or does it feel like GroundHog Day!
Half expecting Bill Murray to pop his head around the corner…
The Premier of Victoria has announced a 5 day snap lockdown from 11.59pm Thursday 15 July to 11.59 Tuesday 20 July.
And so we find ourselves having to close our doors for a fifth time.
As has been our approach throughout this pandemic, we will closely follow the advice of Victoria’s chief health officer, the Department of Health (Vic) (VDoH) and Department of Health (Fed) (DoH).
This means that we anticipate reopening as soon as it is safe and practical to do so – which on the current timeframes will be Wednesday 21 July 2021.
However – as we have all come to understand – this reopening date is contingent on the many uncontrollable forces we find ourselves subject to.
What this means for you
If you are scheduled to attend a course or any other form of face-to-face training over the period covered by the 5 day lockdown – our covid policy applies.
At this point of time (16 July), if you are scheduled to attend a course or any other form of face-to-face training at the conclusion of the 5 day lockdown restrictions, we are working on the assumption that this training can be delivered as planned.
However, should the lockdown be extended or your workplace/state directions prevent you from attending we will continue to apply our policy.
You’ve made the commitment to learn – we’ve made the commitment to deliver.
We’ll be in touch personally to ensure you know what’s happening.
