Events

Registration in an event run by Zedu Pty Ltd (Zedu) is confirmed only when payment in full has been received for the nominated event/s.
Refer to each individual course for event fees.
Early registration is advised since event numbers are limited. Registration is confirmed on a “first come, first served” basis.
Zedu reserves the right to alter the content of the event or the presenter(s) without notice; however the event(s) are intended to be provided as advertised and promoted.

Event fees include the provision of course materials, and are fully catered for morning/afternoon tea and lunch.
Event fees are charged in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST.
All event prices are subject to change from time to time. Event pricing is guaranteed once you have registered.
Zedu is not responsible for any travel and/or accommodation arrangements or reimbursements. Please see our accommodation page for recommended accommodation options.

Upon registration, an electronic letter confirming your place in the event/s will be sent to you at your nominated email address, along with your Tax Invoice/Receipt and full administrative details. Additional copies of your Tax Invoice/Receipt can be requested in writing.

The material and content of Zedu events (Event Intellectual Property – EIP) are for individual and private use only and protected by Australia copyright laws and cannot be copied, reproduced, adapted, stored in a retrieval system, transmitted or sub-licensed without the prior written permission of Zedu. Any unauthorised use of the Zedu EIP constitutes an offence and attracts civil and criminal penalties. For permission to reproduce or otherwise deal with the EIP, a request in writing is to be made to Zedu.

Zedu Redo

The Zedo Redo provides paying course participants the opportunity to resit the same course (once) within a twelve month period. Redo places on each course are limited, and allocated on a first-come first served basis. Should you miss the allocation of a Zedu Redo position on a course, we will keep you on record and contact you should a place become available.

Payment methods

Credit card

Zedu encourages all participants to register for an event using a credit card (VISA, MasterCard, AMEX) via our secure online facility.

Direct deposit

Our online enrolment facility does not provide for enrolment using direct deposit – if using this method it is necessary to contact us first in order to secure your place. Registration in the event is confirmed on receipt of payment in full. Where making a direct deposit please:

  • indicate your name and issued invoice number in the transaction.
  • email or fax us a copy of your bank transaction receipt as proof of payment.

Cheque

Zedu will accept cheques for payment – however it is necessary to contact us first. Registration is confirmed on clearance of the cheque and receipt of payment in full. Cheques should be made payable to: Zedu Pty Ltd

Cancellation policy

If you have registered and are not able to attend an Zedu event, you can nominate to send a substitute in your place. Confirmation of this should be made in writing to:

If this is not possible the following conditions apply:

  • Confirm your cancellation in writing more than thirty days prior to the course will result in a 10 per cent cancellation fee (including GST).
  • Confirm your cancellation in writing less than thirty days prior to the course will result in a 50 per cent cancellation fee (including GST).
  • No refunds can be made less than 7 days prior to the event start date or during the course.
  • Once the course has commenced, no refund is possible under any circumstances.

Zedu reserves the right to determine the means for reimbursement, be it by cheque, EFT or Credit Card reversal. Any refunds due will be processed and payable by Zedu within 10 business days of receiving written notification. If the registrant cancels their registration, the refund will exclude any additional fees incurred, such as processing fees.

Zedu reserves the right to cancel an event due to insufficient numbers. Registrants will be notified as soon as possible and registration fees will be refunded in full. Zedu will not be responsible for any associated travel and/or accommodation reimbursements.

Course transfer policy

If you have registered and are not able to attend an Zedu event, you can nominate to transfer your place to the same course at a later date once within a 12 month period – subject to availability.

Transfer to another course is subject to the following conditions:

  • Nominate your transfer in writing more than thirty days prior to the course will incur a transfer fee equivalent to 10 per cent of the course registration fee (including GST).
  • Nominate your transfer in writing less than thirty days prior to the course will incur a transfer fee equivalent to 50 per cent of the course registration fee (including GST).
  • No transfer can be made less than 7 days prior to the event start date or during the course.
  • Once the course has commenced, no transfer is possible under any circumstances.

Disclaimer

A participant in a training course or event provided by Zedu Pty Ltd acknowledges and agrees that it is a condition of participating in an ultrasound training course provided by Zedu that Zedu and all of its employees, servants or agents are, to the fullest extent permitted by law, excluded from any and all liability for injury or damage caused, connected to or however arising (including any liability for negligence and/or breach of duty) from the participant’s use of ultrasound equipment whether or not such use is during their participation in a course provided by Zedu or at any time after their participation in a course provided by Zedu. In the utilisation of ultrasound there may be physical adjustments made to a participant’s posture and stance by a teacher, tutor or lecturer; it is the individual’s responsibility to advise a representative of Zedu if such adjustments are not to occur.

Participation at an in-person event or activity includes a level of risk for communicable diseases, such as Covid-19. By attending this event, I acknowledge that an inherent risk of exposure to communicable diseases or viruses exists. I voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure and agree not to hold Zedu, or any of their directors, contractors, or volunteers liable for any illness or injury.

Social media disclaimer

Zedu Pty Ltd reserves the right to add, remove or edit content on our social media pages in its sole discretion. Zedu will make every effort to monitor the contents of our social media presences and ensure their content is of an appropriate nature in Zedu’s sole opinion. If you find inappropriate content on any of our pages, please notify us immediately. Content that is deemed inappropriate in Zedu ‘s sole discretion will be removed. Zedu is in no way providing any medical or other health care advice as part of our social media presences. Any information, comment or link posted by Zedu, should not be considered medical advice. You must contact your health care provider directly for the appropriate information and any health care related advice. Zedu shall not be held responsible for inappropriate content, images or third party links submitted by other users. All pictures, images or video posted by Zedu on any Zedu page are copyright of Zedu companies, you must contact Zedu for permission to use or any photograph, image or video. Any image, photograph or video posted by a user is consenting to all third-party policies (i.e. Facebook, YouTube) where the understanding that all or any image including video could be redistributed or copied from these pages. This policy/disclaimer is in addition to any and all third-party policies (i.e. Facebook, YouTube). Zedu course participants and social media users consent to the above Zedu statements and third-party policies. Zedu course participants social media users hereby release Zedu from any and all liability in connection with the use of any and all pictures, images or video posted by Zedu on any Zedu page.

Marketing and photos

You consent to us using images of you taken during your time with us for advertising and promotional purposes in any medium we choose. You grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable licence to use such images for publicity and promotional purposes
