Zedu Weekly Wrap – 8 March 2024
It’s International Women’s Day…
so we’d like to take the opportunity to thank all the incredible role models that we work with who are breaking barriers, inspiring change, and shaping the world around them.
As ultrasound has traditionally been a career path pursued by women, it’s great to see so many leading the way – whether it be in areas such as developing technology or teaching – and pursuing careers beyond imaging. To everyone – have a great day!
This week we have news from around the globe, with highlights including:
- an Australian article on ‘Cultivating Competency in Cardiac Sonography: Aligning Entrustable Professional Activities With Industry Expectations’ (@HeartLungCirc, 7 March)
- a piece in Ultraschall Med on ‘Technical assessment of resolution of handheld ultrasound devices and clinical implications’ (2 March), and
- a review of the effectiveness os a self-directed ultrasound curriculum for internal medicine students (@WINFOCUS, 5 March).
That’s it for another week – have a great Women’s Day 🙂
