Zedu Weekly Wrap – 8 July 2022
So the inevitable happened…
and Suean got the lurgy. Picked up in Longreach of all places – about as far away as anywhere you can get in the world! The irony having survived the lockdowns of Melbourne. She is on the mend and will be back on deck next week.
In the meantime she had to postpone this month’s Coaching Corner on breast ultrasound. But never fear, this will be the topic for August – registration details are below.
Lots to scan through this month – including a unique biomechanical study of coital positions using ultrasound. Guess this gives a new use for the term #POCUS – apologies for the dad joke Dr Lovie (@doctorlovie)!!
That’s all for now…see you next week
Mike (and an absent Suean)
P.S. – Suean’s coaching corner covering the basics of breast #ultrasound – how to, tips & tricks – will be back next month, Zooming live & free Thurs 4 August, 7.30pm (AEST) Register & join our community of clever here…
Get the most out of your teaching moments – join our TRain the UltraSound Trainer (TRUST) course This isn’t a course on how to perform an ultrasound examination or use the technology – it’s designed to give you the teaching tools you’ll need to teach ultrasound on the run. In the words of a previous participant – it’s meta! We’re running this internationally recognised course in Australia for the first time in July and October – don’t miss out.

Thank you all for participating in our polls about central lines – lots of great conversation. To close out the weekend, a thread on confirming central line positioning. First, how do you confirm the position of your lines (assume right IJ approach)?
