Zedu Weekly Wrap – 29 October 2021
A very busy week…
restarting the post lockdown Zedu Learning HQ was like firing up a cold steam train! But we got there – and everyone from our crew, the patient models and our learners had a great time. It seemed such a novelty to see old friends and new people!
Plenty of #POCUS news and views this week – #Blocktober with Jeff Gadsen again being a highlight. Be sure to check out the amazing resources he and the Duke crew have created.
And as always – if you have something coming up you’d like to add or a gem we may have overlooked – let us know.
See you next week.
Mike and Suean
P.S. – The next Coaching Corner is almost upon us – remember to tune in the first Thursday of November where our resident ED guru Allan Whitehead will be discussing how to reduce x-ray ordering using POCUS.

It’s the 26th of #blocktober! Today we're looking at the stellate ganglion block! Ok, this week’s @VaveHealth CMO vid is a great one. Anyone want to say what’s going on with this IVC? Multiple choice will give it away, hoping folks will wager a guess, but if not, I’ll give a clue every day until we get it! #POCUS #MedEd pic.twitter.com/sMEaFr564W

Happy Friday, the 22nd of #blocktober! Today we’re discussing thoracic paravertebral block—IMO the gold standard for thoracic analgesia (apologies to ESP lovers). Once intimidating, ultrasound has made it a much more user-friendly technique! How are you using PVB? #DukeRAP pic.twitter.com/qJYBXSMqca
